Service Description
In our fast paced society, many of us spend our time in a ‘fight, flight or freeze’ state (sympathetic nervous system). Too much time spent in this state leads to dis-ease. In restorative yoga, you will learn to arrive back in your body and into a state of ‘rest and digest’ (parasympathetic nervous system). With the use of the floor, wall, chair and props such as, bolsters, straps, blankets and blocks, you will begin the practice of surrendering into deep relaxation and restoration. Substitutions for props may be used: IE instead of a bolster can can use a firm couch cushion or pillow, books instead of blocks and towels instead of blankets. We will be using Zoom for this program, weekly links will be sent to your email. 6 week Program Dates**** Sept 15,22,29, Oct 6,13 & 20****
